No weight loss for me this week. I honestly wasn't trying very hard though. We went to Monterey Sunday/Monday where I was off my diet for 2 full days, and then we ate pizza for dinner another night. I have no idea how many points that was, but the difference between now and then is that I am only eating until I feel satisfied, rather than stuffed full. As a result, I didn't gain any weight, so I consider that a success. Overall, it helps me to feel more confident that when it comes time to enter into the maintenance phase, I'm better prepared to handle it.
In other news, I've been asked to be a best (wo)man by my friends Ricky and Clarisse. I've known Ricky since I was 12 years old, and I am honored that they want me to fulfill this role. I've been a maid of honor twice before, but the roll of best man will definitely be a new one for me. All in all, I’d say it’s a wise choice on their part having 2 women in the leading roles….girls are generally so much more organized than guys! Weight wise, it definitely gives me even more incentive to stay on plan. I plan to have lost the 25 lbs by this summer, and this will give me motivation to keep it off!
Even though I didn’t lose this week, I’m overall pretty proud about my 5.6 lbs lost. My next goal will be to have lost 10 lbs and I’m sure I’ll reach it within a few weeks. Go me!

You are doing such a great job! Congratulations on losing more than 5 lbs. already and you'll be at 10 before you know it! And in other news, SO EXCITED!
Yay we're excited too!! I think you're right about having more women in the leading roles; while Ricky can hold his own in terms of organization, women are still better at overall aesthetics. We are both stoked to have you stand with us!!
